Continuing with our month of love theme, we would like to ponder the most common of couples debates… ‘sharing’. Sharing ones food is often something that needs to be ironed out at the start of a relationship. There are those that find no greater pleasure than the togetherness that a shared plate can bring, and there are the non-sharers.
Now we’re not suggesting for one second that we condone the interruption of your meal from a case of menu envy i.e. the jealousy that ensues from your partner when your perfect choice comes out. We’re simply suggesting that those grumpy individuals that take great offence at even the suggestion of a taste of their chosen dish have obviously never been introduced to the joys that a shared plate can bring.
Taking you straight to our mouth-watering Valentines menu, why not dip your toe (or crostini) in the sharing concept with the irresistible ‘Whole baked camembert with homemade onion chutney and garlic crostini’? Or, if you are feeling a little adventurous and all the Valentines hype is starting to rub off, we are certain that you won’t be able to resist the temptations of ‘Warm dipping chocolate with grilled fruits, marshmallows and hazelnut shortbread’. Now that’s what we call sharing!
