Loved by all that visit, Chez Jules makes the perfect venue for any sort of special occasion. Whether you are searching for the perfect location for a work event, celebrating a birthday, toasting an anniversary or tying the knot, we will bend over backwards to make sure that everything is perfect for you.

Everyone wants to be different these days, especially when it comes to venue finding and Chez Jules ticks all the boxes. Located in the historic and beautifully quirky fire station that used to serve Chester, our ‘Upstairs’ floor is full of the Chez Jules character and charm. Entering the room through the relaxed mezzanine ‘lounge’ area, complete with an eye-catching wall that pays homage to the building’s history, the area opens out into a large and airy space that comes complete with its own bar.
The ‘pièce de résistance’ here is that it is totally free to hire and you are more than welcome to decorate it as you please. Finished off with a full entertainment system that includes: a large projector screen, projector, DVD, CD, laptop connection and Wifi… what more could you ask for?!

Here are some of the latest bespoke events we have happily arranged for our guests:

April 2011 – Chez Jules hosted a fantastic wine tasting evening in conjunction with ‘Best of Chester’. It was a very relaxed and informative evening with some great French wines to taste and a fantastic 3 course meal to match alongside… a perfect start to the Easter break!!

December 2010 – Chester law firm hire the whole of upstairs for their Christmas party. We organised everything from decorations, through to linen, flowers, reception drinks, balloons.. even a DJ for dancing along with a full bar service!

December 2010 – Chez Jules played host to a fantastic Champagne tasting evening upstairs and served fantastic gourmet canapes throughout the evening to this professional network meeting for 40 guests

October 2010 – Mr & Mrs S had a fantastic wedding reception, starting at 4pm they entered to welcome Champagne and preceeded to have a fantastic 4 course meal. We arranged for a live Harp to play throughout the evening as well as decorating upstairs exactly as the couple wanted.

August 2010 – Wedding for a lovely couple who kindly emailed to say many of their guests thought it ‘was the best wedding breakfast they had ever been to’ and that they were amazed by.. 1. the great choice offered on the bespoke menu they had helped design… 2. that the food was of such high quality…and 3. that the first two points were combined with such a fast and friendly service!

August 2010 – Chez Jules hosted a 25th Wedding Anniversary for a lovely couple who wanted the room decorated in purple!!… we even went to the trouble of decorating all of the chairs and they chose their favourite Chez Jules dishes for their own personalised menu!
